About Us

Stacks/The Law Firm is a group of law firms which together offer a wide range of legal services throughout NSW and QLD. Each firm is an independent, incorporated legal practice but by working together, the group can offer expert legal advice at a much higher level and across a wider geographical area. Stacks/ The Law Firm is now the largest regional-based network of law practices in Australia, with 20 offices, 76 professional staff and 108 support staff.

Stacks/Family Law draws on the expertise of all of the family lawyers within the Stacks/The Law Firm group. Regularly coming together via conference calls and face-to-face meetings, family law specialists from 20 offices in NSW and QLD have the resources and expertise of the wider group at their fingertips. The end result is a consistently high level of service for individual clients.

Due to the geographic location and moderate size of each firm in the Stacks group, family lawyers practicing within these firms are able to keep their costs down. Each firm operates its own small practice without the financial pressure associated with running a large firm, but with access to the resources of essentially a large firm. This translates to greater value for money for you. We aim to ensure that our legal fees are always reasonable in relation to the services we provide.

We understand how important it is to regularly review the quality of our legal services. We continue to meet the rigorous requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard. Having been certified since 2003, we are proud to have obtained re-certification to the ISO9001:2008 standard for a further three years, following a recent re-certification audit by SAI Global.
